Ghafarullahhuddin Haji Din is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Islamic Thought and Understanding UiTM Shah Alam. He holds a first degree in Economic Planning and Development (UKM 1985) a graduate Diploma in Syariah (UKM 1989) a Masters Degree in Islamic Studies/Islamic Economics (USM 1996) and a PhD in Islamic Studies/Islamic Economics (USM 2004). He is the Coordinator for Islamic Literature at the University Publication Centre (UPENA), UiTM. Together with Associate Professor Dr. Mohd. Radzi Othman from USM, he had written Ekonomi dalam Perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Al Su h published by USM (2005) and with colleagues from UiTM he had produced Kisah-Kisah Ceria Pengasah Akhlak Mulia volumes 1-4 (2006) Koleksi Kisah Ceria Pengasuh Akhlak Mulia (2007) and Muhasabah Bangsa Puisi Cetusan Rasa Sempena 50 Tahun Merdeka (2007) published by UiTM.
